Information you provide — when you create an account, join the waitlist, or reach out to us, you may provide details like your name, email address, and preferences.
Profile and preferences — language, country of origin, current city, and interests you choose to share so answers are relevant to you.
Content you submit — chat messages, saved resources, job posts, messages to other users, community posts, uploaded videos, and receipts you send to Rewards.
Basic technical information — to improve and secure our services, we may collect information such as your IP address and device details. This helps us enhance the experience and keep your service running smoothly.

How we use information

To provide answers, resources, and local guidance you ask for.
To personalize your feed and journey when you enable personalization.
To operate accounts, rewards, referrals, and subscriptions.
To keep the community safe, moderate reported content, and prevent abuse.
To send you service emails you have asked for, such as sign-in and verification links.

What we never do

We never sell your personal data.
We never require immigration status to use the app.
We never share your data with enforcement agencies except where legally compelled.

Service providers

We use a small set of vendors to run the app — hosting and database infrastructure, email delivery, AI model providers that generate answers, payment processing for subscriptions, and reward fulfillment partners that issue gift cards or credits. They process data only to deliver those services on our behalf.

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your language, and support offline access to saved resources. We do not run advertising trackers.

We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account and associated profile data from your profile settings, or email us and we will handle it for you. Some records may be retained where required by law, for fraud prevention, or for reward payout records.

Children

Ask IMAG is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
